Focus
We develop novel x-ray imaging methods, focusing on 3D and 4D tomosynthesis imaging. Our next-generation digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) prototype is capable of super-resolution and multiplanar imaging. To develop and evaluate new imaging systems, we have created an open-source Virtual Clinical Trial (VCT) pipeline. Consisting of multiple GPU-accelerated software modules, VCTs can quantify the improvement of novel imaging systems, including the clinical performance of DBT.
