Focus
Britton Chance Laboratory of Redox Imaging brings together physicists, chemists, biologists, clinicians, and statisticians for cross-disciplinary biomedical imaging studies of the redox status coupled to reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) in conditions such as cancer, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases. We are currently developing optical/NMR imaging and spectroscopic biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic response, and understanding the fundamental role of NAD- and FAD-coupled redox state in cancer transformation and progression to metastasis.
