Overview

The Department of Radiology offers both ACGME-accredited and non-ACGME-accredited fellowships across our departmental divisions. Learn more about each of our divisional fellowship programs here.

Accredited Fellowships

These fellowship programs, which provide an extremely well-rounded experience in clinical, educational and research endeavors, are Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited.

Abdominal Imaging Fellowship

The Abdominal Imaging Fellowship provides an extremely well-rounded experience in clinical, educational, and research endeavors.

Neuroradiology Fellowship

Penn Radiology provides neuroradiology training in one-year and two-year tracks to individuals who have successfully completed radiology residence and are board certified.

Nuclear Radiology Fellowship

Our Nuclear Radiology Fellowship provides comprehensive experience in all aspects of Nuclear Radiology, including diagnostic and therapeutic applications of radionuclides.

Unaccredited Fellowships

Our unaccredited fellowships provide intense training in a specialized area of radiology.

Advanced Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship

Our Advanced Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship trains three individuals annually for a one-year, non-ACGME accredited fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging. Learn about our program.

Breast Radiology Fellowship

This Fellowship Program trains top-notch individuals in the field of breast radiology. We prepare fellows to be highly qualified and sought after for private practice or an academic career.

Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship

The Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania provides an organized, comprehensive and highly supervised one-year training program in cardiothoracic imaging and chest biopsy procedures to prepare fellows to become future leaders and skilled practitioners in the field.

Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship

The Cardiovascular Imaging (CVI) Fellowship is designed to develop broad-based expertise in all forms of non-invasive CV imaging and image processing.

Imaging Informatics Fellowship

Penn offers fourth-year residents and clinical fellows the opportunity to complete specialized training in imaging informatics, in parallel with their final year of residency training or their clinical fellowship.

Oncological Imaging Fellowship

In addition to clinical training, this fellowship offers opportunities to participate in oncologic research and resident education.

ABR Alternate Pathway to Certification

This 4-year program, designed for international medical graduates aiming for radiology board certification, operates in collaboration with the American Board of Radiology through the Alternate Pathway.
