In collaboration with our pediatric endocrinology colleagues at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we offer the opportunity for a combined Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship for those who have completed combined residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. This is a four-year program designed to prepare trainees for careers in academic and clinical endocrinology. Fellows dedicate one year to adult endocrinology clinical training, one year to pediatric endocrinology clinical training. The third and fourth years are focused on research training in either patient-oriented or basic laboratory research while fulfilling continuity ambulatory requirement. Alternatively, fellows may elect to pursue a more clinical track that allows for greater focus on clinical training that remains within the ABIM, ABP and ACGME guidelines.
